Looking back on it, I can’t believe it took me as long as it did to see the ludicrousness of my former beliefs. Once you’re on this side of Reason, all the myths seems as silly as Santa Claus.
I am not religious. I do not go to church. I dont believe the bible is anything more than just another book. It was written by human beings who had no more knowledge than anyone else as to the existence or lack thereof of a God. The same can be said of the reading material. Mark Twain etc; all fallible human beings. It is all OK as satire but if it is meant to prove anything it fails every bit as much as does the bible.
